Welcome to Chief Chairs! These terms explain the conditions that apply when using our website or purchasing our products.
By placing an order, you agree to these terms, subject to your rights under Australian law.
About Us
Chief Chairs is an Adelaide-based Australian company supplying caravan-mounted fold-out chairs and related accessories.
Product Information
We aim to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, specifications, availability and pricing.
Minor variations in appearance may occur due to manufacturing processes, materials and screen settings, subject to Australian Consumer Law.
Customers should confirm product compatibility with their caravan before purchasing or installing.
Prices & Payments
All prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST.
Applicable shipping charges are displayed separately at checkout.
Payments are securely processed through Squarespace Payments using the available checkout methods.
Orders are confirmed following successful payment and the issue of an order confirmation, subject to applicable law.
If a pricing or availability error occurs, we'll contact you to discuss the available options. We won't charge additional amounts without your agreement.
Reservations & Early-Bird Offers
Chief Chairs may occasionally offer unpaid product reservations or early-bird promotions.
Where offered, reservations allow customers to register their interest without making an upfront payment.
Eligible customers may receive a purchase invitation and discount code when stock becomes available.
Unless otherwise specified, customers have seven days to complete their purchase following the invitation, after which the reservation may be released.
Unpaid reservations do not guarantee stock allocation or a final purchase price unless expressly confirmed.
Specific promotional conditions will be communicated when the offer is made.
Pre-Orders
Selected products may be available for pre-order before stock arrives.
Pre-orders require full payment at checkout, with estimated dispatch timeframes provided before purchase.
We'll communicate relevant changes to expected dispatch dates.
All pre-orders remain subject to Australian Consumer Law, including applicable remedies where products cannot be supplied as agreed or within a reasonable time.
Installation & Safety
Chief Chairs products must be installed and used in accordance with the supplied instructions, specifications and applicable safety requirements.
Customers or their installers must confirm the suitability of the caravan chassis, mounting locations, hardware and clearances before installation.
Do not exceed the stated product weight capacity or use the product outside its intended purpose.
Damage caused solely by improper installation, misuse or unauthorised modifications may fall outside our voluntary warranty. Nothing in these terms limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Shipping, Returns & Refunds
Shipping, delivery, change-of-mind returns and refund arrangements are explained in our Shipping & Returns policy.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Warranty
Chief Chairs provides a 12-month voluntary warranty against manufacturing defects, commencing from the date of delivery.
Full warranty conditions are available before purchase and supplied with each product.
This warranty is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, original Chief Chairs branding, photographs, graphics, website content and other protected materials are owned by CHIEF CHAIRS PTY LTD or used with permission.
Unauthorised commercial reproduction or use is not permitted.
Website Use
You agree not to misuse our website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access or use its content unlawfully.
Privacy
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains how customer information is collected, used and protected.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights or alter existing purchase obligations where doing so would be unlawful.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia and applicable Commonwealth laws of Australia, without limiting any consumer protections that apply to you.
