We’re Mikey and Sarah, a family from Adelaide, South Australia.

Two years ago, we packed up and headed off on a trip around Australia with our family. Like most people travelling with a caravan, we quickly learnt that the best parts of the trip were often the simple ones — pulling up somewhere beautiful, sitting outside, having a drink, watching the kids, and enjoying where we were.

We also realised how much gear comes with those moments. Chairs had to be packed, stored, pulled out, folded up and put away again every time we stopped.

Adventure Made Easy

  • We wanted to create something that could stay with the caravan, be ready in seconds and fold away neatly when it was time to move on. Something practical, comfortable and made for the way people actually travel.

    What started as an idea during our own family adventure has grown into Chief Chairs — designed, refined and engineered with one goal in mind: making life on the road that little bit easier.

  • It's all about size! Little Dog is 600mm wide and weighs 11kg, while Big Dog is 750mm wide and weighs 12kg.

    Both are built tough without the unnecessary bulk.

    Optional drop-down brackets add 1kg.

  • Don't let their compact size fool you! Both Little Dog and Big Dog have been engineered to support up to 200kg.

  • Chief Chairs are designed for straightforward installation, generally taking 30 minutes or less with the right tools and a suitable mounting setup.

    Drop-down brackets are included with every Chief Chair, giving you additional flexibility when fitting your chair beneath your caravan.

    Chief Chairs feature powder-coated steel, aluminium components and stainless steel hardware for strength and durability, plus a removable cushion for easy cleaning.

  • Absolutely. Every Chief Chair comes with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, with repair or replacement where applicable. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law also apply.
